Handyman

About the Role

At A.P. Moller - Maersk, we are hiring a Handyman to join our team in Poti, Georgia. This permanent position involves carrying out general maintenance and upkeep tasks within the port area of the terminal to ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning the terminal area by removing production and other waste materials.
• Clearing drainage and sewer channels and pits to maintain functionality.
• Controlling unwanted vegetation and maintaining green plants throughout the port premises.
• Collecting and disposing of sanitary and household waste from vessels.
• Relocating office and other inventories within the port territory as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness at the port's checkpoints and surrounding areas.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Knowledge of how to operate grass cutters, sprayers, and other related equipment.
• Familiarity with sanitary safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Previous experience in a similar handyman or maintenance role is required.
