Role Overview
FedEx is seeking dedicated Handlers to join our operations teams during the night shift. As an essential part of our operations, you'll ensure packages are efficiently handled and delivered securely and timely to our customers.
Working Hours & Compensation
The position requires 40 working hours per week, following a shift pattern from midnight to early morning: 00:00 to 08:45 from Tuesday to Friday and 00:00 to 07:30 on Saturday (excluding a 30-minute break). The hourly wage is A313.29, with additional premiums for hours worked between 7 pm and 10 pm ( A31.43 extra per hour) and 10 pm to 6 am ( A31.73 extra per hour). The total weekly gross pay amounts to A353.50 plus an attendance bonus prior to statutory deductions.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading vehicles to maintain package integrity and ensure timely delivery.
- Sorting packages and freight using scanning technology.
- Adhering strictly to Health & Safety guidelines to maintain a safe workplace.
