Job Overview
This role is located at 20 Telavi Street, Tbilisi, Georgia, within the Sheraton Hotels & Resorts. It is a full-time position classified under Sales & Marketing with no remote option. The position falls under a non-management category.
Core Responsibilities
- Respond to guest calls, requests, or issues by coordinating with relevant departments such as Sales, Data Administration, and Accounting.
- Apply sales techniques focused on increasing revenue while preserving guest loyalty to the Marriott brand, including effective up-selling.
- Provide compliments to guests as tokens of appreciation, which may include rewards points, show tickets, or gift certificates.
- Promote internal and external brand awareness of Sheraton and Marriott Hotels.
- Manage redemption requests for Marriott Rewards points and process all reservation activities including booking, modifying, and cancellations via phone, fax, or mail.
- Input Marriott Rewards data into the designated software during guest reservations.
- Handle guest communication professionally by answering calls, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns.
- Perform administrative support tasks for the Sales & Marketing team such as filing, emailing, typing, and faxing.
- Support management efforts by assisting in staff training and motivation and acting as a role model.
- Adhere to company policies ensuring professional conduct including dress, confidentiality, and asset protection.
- Deliver a warm and welcoming guest experience, anticipate guest needs, and express sincere gratitude.
- Communicate clearly and professionally both orally and in writing, maintaining high standards in telephone etiquette and documentation.
- Foster effective working relationships with colleagues to collaborate on common objectives and respond to employee concerns appropriately.
- Monitor coworkers’ work quality to ensure compliance with expectations and standards.
- Verify information accurately across various document formats.
- Handle physical tasks involving light lifting or moving objects up to 10 pounds unassisted.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum education of a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- At least two years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
- No prior supervisory experience is required.
- No certifications or licenses are mandated.
