Groundworker

About the Role

We seek a diligent and dependable Groundworker to contribute to a new construction project based in Eastleigh. This role involves diverse groundworks tasks essential for site development and ground investigation projects, ensuring operations are conducted with safety, efficiency, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform excavation activities such as digging trial holes and trial pits as per project specifications.
• Assist in site setup and prepare areas in alignment with project requirements.
• Support trialling and testing procedures on designated land sections.
• Interpret site drawings and execute instructions from site management accurately while adhering to project timelines.
• Maintain excellent site housekeeping and ensure safe and correct use of tools and equipment.
• Carry out general site duties as needed to support efficient workflow.
• Comply strictly with health and safety protocols and continuously wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Contribute actively towards fostering a safe working environment for all personnel on site.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a valid CSCS card.
• Demonstrated prior experience as a Groundworker or in a related role within the construction sector.
• Exhibit a positive outlook, strong work ethic, and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to diverse tasks and evolving project demands.
