About the Role
We are seeking entry-level candidates interested in joining our permanent team at Kapooka - Blamey Barracks as Grounds Maintenance Operators. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy outdoor work and want to develop new skills in a valued and supportive environment.
Primary Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and care for site grounds and gardens.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to grounds upkeep activities.
- Receive training to operate equipment such as ride-on mowers, whipper snippers, and other grounds maintenance tools.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold a current open driver's license.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required).
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dedication to delivering high-quality results.
