Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill in Niagara Falls, Ontario. This is an on-site, full-time position requiring at least one year of experience. The role is centered around preparing and cooking high-quality meals efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining strict standards for food safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate appropriate portion sizes and manage food costs effectively.
• Order necessary food items and kitchen supplies to ensure uninterrupted kitchen operations.
• Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to meet quality standards.
• Cater to customers with specific food allergies or dietary intolerances by preparing specialized dishes.
• Create special meal plans for patients as directed by dietitians or chefs.
• Conduct thorough inspections of kitchen and food service areas to maintain hygiene and safety.
• Train kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and proper handling.
• Manage supply and equipment ordering processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen and work areas.

Requirements

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent relevant experience.
