About Kilsaran's Concrete Products and Aggregates Division

Our Concrete Products and Aggregates segment is a thriving and profitable unit dedicated to supporting our customers across Ireland. Kilsaran is a trusted provider among businesses and contractors for delivering superior construction materials essential to developing national infrastructure projects such as commercial buildings, agricultural and domestic structures, office complexes, and major roadways.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a General Operative based in Kilfeacle, Co. Tipperary, your duties will encompass operating heavy machinery, maintaining yard cleanliness, and acting as support for loading shovels, shipping, and concrete batching as necessary. Your tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Operating mechanical equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Keeping the yard area clean and orderly at all times.
  • Providing relief cover for Loading Shovel operations whenever required.
  • Assisting with shipping and batching duties as needed.
  • Carrying out additional reasonable duties as assigned by your manager.
  • Upholding a leading example in health and safety compliance, adhering to all company policies and procedures, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly, and ensuring personal and team safety throughout all work activities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience with machinery operation is advantageous but not essential.
  • Able to perform manual handling tasks safely.
