Job description
Position Summary
The General Merchandise Team Associate at Walmart plays a key role in providing excellent customer service by greeting guests on the sales floor and offering product assistance tailored to their needs. This position involves maintaining Hobbies & Home Improvement displays to ensure visual appeal and order throughout the workday, as well as responsibilities such as paint mixing and fabric cutting when required.
Compensation Details
The hourly pay ranges from $17 to $30, with the actual wage meeting or exceeding the minimum legal requirements for the Anchorage, AK location. Additional earnings include quarterly or annual performance incentives and premiums that can vary from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour depending on factors such as shift schedule, work location, seasonality, or specific tasks completed. These premiums may stack if eligibility criteria are met.
Work Schedule and Location
This is a full-time position with shifts available during the opening and morning hours. The worksite is Walmart Supercenter #4359 located at 7405 Debarr Road, Anchorage, AK 99504, USA.
