Position Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as a General Merchandise Associate offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your experience in retail. This role involves delivering outstanding customer service aligned with Walmart's core values, organizing and maintaining the merchandise floor, aiding in stock management and sales support.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer courteous and friendly assistance to customers by greeting them warmly, helping promote products and services, guiding them to merchandise, supporting purchasing decisions, handling customer concerns, and directing issues as necessary.
• Manage and maintain assigned salesfloor areas effectively.
• Ensure proper zoning and organization within designated sections.
• Relocate featured merchandise to its designated display locations.
• Retrieve merchandise from customer service areas and other store locations for restocking.
• Provide coverage support at the Front End when needed.
• Coordinate with fellow associates to maintain consistent floor coverage.
• Help maintain a safe and clean work environment by following company policies and performing safety checks, securing displays and fixtures to prevent hazards.
• Perform stocking duties including picking, downstocking, product protection application, and setting up modular displays along with updating shelf caps.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.

Additional Information

The starting wage for this position is $16.90 per hour.
