About the Role

As a General Mechanic at Hilton, you play a critical role in maintaining the hotel's operational safety and functionality. Your contribution goes beyond repairs – you help create memorable guest experiences by ensuring every facility runs efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Promptly address maintenance requests from guests and staff to ensure swift problem resolution.
• Maintain a detailed shift log documenting all events and activities during your shift.
• Perform preventive upkeep tasks as assigned, completing all related documentation thoroughly.
• Respond immediately to emergency situations such as leaks, fires, or power failures to safeguard occupants and property.
• Implement directives from the Assistant Director of Engineering or Duty Foreman with accuracy and diligence.
• Assist in installing newly acquired equipment when needed, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
• Maintain cleanliness and protect surrounding areas during work operations to uphold hotel standards.
• Fulfill additional reasonable duties as assigned, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.
• Adjust work processes and practices in response to industry trends, company policies, or hotel requirements to remain effective and relevant.
