Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position as General Manager based in Dubai is responsible for directing day-to-day operations across multiple facets, including managing the fleet, overseeing reservations, ensuring outstanding customer service, and monitoring branch performance. Key duties involve establishing and tracking operational goals, complying with local regulations, and devising policies to boost efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a diverse team by managing staffing, training, and scheduling to uphold high service standards.
• Manage vendor partnerships and address critical customer concerns effectively.
• Analyze financial statements and reports to guide operational decisions and support business growth.
• Participate actively in strategic planning and the development of new business opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven leadership skills with experience in managing varied teams and elevating their performance.
• Strong foundation in operations management within car rental, automotive, travel, or similar service sectors.
• Competent in financial management including budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis to enhance profitability.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities with a talent for conflict resolution and client relationship maintenance.
• Skilled in logistics and fleet management, encompassing scheduling, vehicle maintenance coordination, and utilization optimization.
• Experience in sales and business development, including cultivating local partnerships and managing corporate accounts, is beneficial.
• Familiarity with office software, rental management systems, CRM platforms, and basic data reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related discipline strongly preferred; equivalent professional experience accepted.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving capabilities, with ability to work autonomously and make decisions grounded in data.
• Fluency in English mandatory; proficiency in additional languages commonly spoken in Dubai is advantageous.
