About the Role
This job vacancy is for a position within a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds the license to use McDonald's branding and products, but operates as a separate entity and employer. Employment decisions, including hiring, discipline, and scheduling, are managed solely by the franchisee, with no involvement from McDonald's USA.
Job Summary
The General Manager oversees the profitable operation of the restaurant while ensuring compliance with McDonald's high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. Partnering with leadership, the General Manager sets and implements goals for the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Department Managers by assisting in goal setting, tracking progress, and offering coaching to improve departmental performance.
- Hire and nurture Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline.
- Ensure the restaurant consistently meets customer service and operational expectations.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates have previous experience managing high-volume General Manager roles, especially within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail environments. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to hold management positions in corporate-owned McDonald's restaurants.
