General Manager

About the Role

This position is for a restaurant operated by an independent franchise owner licensed to use McDonald's brand and products. Employment and all related workplace decisions are managed solely by the franchisee, not McDonald's USA.

The General Manager is tasked with overseeing a profitable restaurant operation while ensuring adherence to McDonald's high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This leadership role involves collaborating with leadership to establish and execute restaurant goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Department Managers by setting goals, monitoring performance, and providing coaching for departmental improvements.
• Drive the overall success of the restaurant through effective team leadership and operational management.
• Recruit, hire, and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience as a General Manager in high-volume restaurants is highly preferred.
• Background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors is advantageous.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify as managers in corporate-operated McDonald’s locations.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary ranges from $50,000 to $65,000 annually.
