Role Summary
The General Manager at Liwa UX is a full-time remote position tasked with leading daily operational activities, boosting business performance, and ensuring the provision of top-quality UX services. This leadership role involves managing cross-functional teams, establishing clear goals, and tracking key performance indicators to ensure projects align with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily team operations and activities.
- Lead team meetings and review project schedules and timelines.
- Address and resolve operational challenges proactively.
- Support employee growth through consistent coaching and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define strategic direction and optimize operational processes.
- Manage resource distribution and budgeting effectively.
- Drive business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships.
- Promote a workplace culture centered on accountability, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities, including supervising personnel, managing performance, and mentoring.
- Expertise in business operations with skills in strategic planning, budgeting, resource management, and process enhancement.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities to manage stakeholders and work efficiently within a remote, distributed team.
- Solid project management experience, capable of prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of UX, product, or technology-driven environments, comfortable collaborating with cross-disciplinary groups such as design, product, and engineering teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude to interpret data, monitor KPIs, and make data-driven decisions.
- Dedication to fostering inclusive, non-discriminatory leadership and cultivating a positive, equitable workplace culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline required; advanced degree or equivalent experience is advantageous.
- Previous experience in senior leadership positions like General Manager or Operations Director.
