Overview
This position is for a restaurant managed by an independent franchise operator licensed to use McDonald's branding and products, separate from McDonald's USA. The franchisee independently manages all employment-related matters including hiring and supervision.
Role Summary
The General Manager is tasked with overseeing a profitable restaurant operation and ensuring adherence to McDonald’s high customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Collaborating with leadership, the General Manager sets and executes the restaurant’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Department Managers by helping them set targets, monitor progress, and provide coaching to improve performance.
- Manage the overall restaurant operations to achieve business goals.
- Recruit and develop Department and Shift Managers to maintain a strong leadership team.
- Ensure compliance with McDonald's standards for quality and service.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates have prior experience as a General Manager, preferably in high-volume quick service restaurants. Backgrounds in hospitality or retail are also considered valuable. Candidates must be at least 18 years old for management roles.
