Job description
Position Overview
We are excited to welcome a General Maintenance Technician to our team at Haven. This full-time, permanent role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our park facilities, contributing to an enjoyable and hassle-free experience for our guests. Compensation offers up to £12.71 per hour, depending on age.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance across park amenities, covering plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Swiftly handle minor repair issues by identifying causes and implementing practical solutions to maintain facility functionality.
- Carry out scheduled safety and equipment checks to prevent operational problems and uphold a secure environment.
- Attend maintenance requests from guests, property owners, or team members with professionalism and a helpful attitude.
- Collaborate effectively with the broader maintenance team to deliver consistent, high-quality service throughout the park.
- Maintain accurate documentation and rigorously adhere to health and safety standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Hands-on experience in general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting is crucial; related trade qualifications are advantageous.
- Previous involvement with holiday home maintenance is favored but not mandatory.
- Capability to operate autonomously and within a team environment, paired with strong problem-solving skills.
- Keen awareness and adherence to safety measures, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.
- Possession of a full UK Driving License is preferred.
