Job Overview
We are seeking a General Laborer to perform manual labor duties and support various operations on worksites. A primary responsibility involves collecting trash, debris, and waste to maintain a clean and safe environment. The role also requires handling power tools and materials including saws, drills, and more.
Responsibilities
- Clear worksites of hazardous or unwanted materials to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Assist tradespeople such as welders, carpenters, and painters as needed
- Manage and move materials like cement along with equipment such as drills and grinders
- Operate power tools and machinery including forklifts when required
- Carry out instructions from supervisors for manual labor tasks like digging and stacking goods
- Set up safety warning signs such as cones and signposts to alert vehicles and pedestrians
- Aid in erecting and relocating temporary structures like scaffolding
- Identify and report any equipment problems or unsafe workplace conditions
Eligibility and Requirements
