General Laborer

Position Overview

We seek a General Laborer to perform manual labor duties and assist with operational tasks at worksites. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety by removing trash, debris, and other waste material. You will operate power tools and handle materials such as saws, drills, cement, and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clear worksites of hazardous, obsolete, or unwanted materials to ensure a safe environment
• Support tradespeople including welders, carpenters, and painters with various on-site tasks
• Manage and transport materials like cement and equipment such as drills and grinders
• Operate power tools and machinery, including forklifts, when required
• Adhere to instructions from supervisors to carry out manual tasks such as digging and stacking goods
• Install warning signs (e.g., signposts, cones) to alert vehicles and pedestrians
• Assist in setting up and relocating temporary structures, such as scaffolding
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or unsafe conditions promptly
