General Help - Full Time

Role Impact

In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting everyday operations through a variety of duties including cleaning, food preparation, meal service, and dishwashing.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out housekeeping tasks to ensure the cleanliness of patient rooms and communal areas.
• Assist in food preparation, arrange and clean chairs and tables, serve meals, deliver trays to residents, wash dishes, and maintain kitchen hygiene.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, promptly report any injuries or hazards to the supervisor, and fulfill other reasonable management requests.

Candidate Profile

• Must hold a valid Food Handler Certificate or equivalent provincial certification.
• Previous experience in housekeeping and food services will be considered a plus.
• Experience working in healthcare or long-term care environments is preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written, with the capability to understand and follow instructions clearly.
