Job Overview
Trans Canada Movers is seeking dedicated Furniture Movers in Delta, British Columbia to assist with the handling and relocation of furniture and related goods. This position involves physical labor such as loading, unloading, packing, and moving various items using manual effort and basic equipment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manually load, unload, and transport products and materials carefully.
- Wrap, pack, and unpack goods securely to ensure safe transport.
- Sort, crate, and stack items for organized movement and storage.
- Lift and move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Work experience between one and less than seven months preferred.
Physical and Work Conditions
- Requires regular walking and physical activity.
- Ability to handle weights ranging from up to 9 kg (20 lbs) to more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
- Flexible scheduling including early morning and morning shifts.
