Job description
Position Summary
The Apparel Processing Outfitter plays a key role in managing all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt to stocking on the sales floor and storage area.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently process all apparel items upon receipt following Visual Merchandising and MPS standards while utilizing the inventory system (50%).
- Consistently replenish sales floor merchandise according to Visual Merchandising Standards using the inventory management tools (10%).
- Stay informed on current sales promotions to support proper backroom organization and timely replenishment (10%).
- Unload delivery trucks as required (10%).
- Assist in ticketing and signage of merchandise items (5%).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment (5%).
- Ensure backstock inventory remains orderly and easy to access (5%).
- Deliver outstanding customer service to contribute to a positive shopping experience (5%).
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- No prior work experience needed.
- Proficiency with company computer systems such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices, and Point of Sale registers.
- Ability to interpret and apply planograms, visual merchandising guides, and replenishment reports.
- Strong communication skills to engage professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Aptitude for building and sustaining productive workplace relationships with management and team members.
Physical and Work Requirements
- Regularly walking, standing, and computer operation.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Minimal sitting.
- Ability to operate ladders and lifts as necessary.
Work Environment and Judgment
Operates under general supervision, adhering to established processes with occasional independent decision-making to resolve work-related issues and suggest improvements.
Compensation
Starting pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.75 per hour.
