Position Overview

Our Bowen Road location in Nanaimo is hiring a dedicated Full-Time Cut Fruit Clerk to join the Produce team. This role involves preparing a range of fresh produce items, including crafting salsas and assembling appealing fruit and vegetable trays. The position also encompasses cutting, packaging, merchandise presentation, maintaining displays, and inventory management within the produce section.

Key Responsibilities

• Slice, trim, and prepare various fruits and vegetables to produce visually appealing fresh trays and platters.
• Maintain and update product displays and signage to enhance customer engagement.
• Ensure shelves remain stocked, orderly, and clean for optimal presentation.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned to support department operations.

Schedule Requirements

Must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage between CA$18.25 and CA$22.00.
