Full-Time Cleaning Technician - Evening Shift

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable cleaning technician for full-time evening janitorial work in the Fredericton area. This position requires working in a dynamic environment with job sites located throughout Fredericton. Candidates must have their own transportation to commute to various locations. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Perform sweeping and mopping of floors
• Disinfect frequently touched surfaces
• Vacuum carpets and rugs
• Clean and sanitize washroom facilities
• Dust surfaces and fixtures
• Carry out general cleaning tasks as assigned
• Empty garbage receptacles
• Assist co-workers as needed
• Undertake physical activities such as bending, lifting, kneeling, and reaching
• Follow directions from supervisors and perform additional duties as required

Candidate Requirements

• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Strong reliability and punctuality
• Janitorial experience is an advantage but not mandatory
• Flexibility to adjust hours, including staying late or arriving early if necessary
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively around others
• Willingness to obtain and provide a police background check and complete security clearances
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
• Comfortable working at various locations across the city
• Energetic with good time management to complete tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail in cleaning tasks
