Full Stack Engineer

Overview

We are looking to recruit an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our technical team. This role involves designing, building, integrating, testing, deploying, and maintaining scalable web applications and software services. The candidate will be deeply involved in both front-end and back-end development and is expected to have robust knowledge in web engineering, object-oriented programming, software architecture, AI system integration, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and networking protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain comprehensive full-stack web applications and services.
• Build scalable and resilient front-end and back-end components leveraging modern web technologies.
• Apply object-oriented design, software engineering methodologies, clean coding standards, and design patterns.
• Create and uphold scalable, secure software architectures suitable for enterprise solutions.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and other interfaces to enable communication between systems.
• Integrate external platforms, cloud services, third-party APIs, and software ecosystems.
• Construct database schemas, optimized queries, and data models for efficient data handling.
• Implement AI and machine learning integrations, including utilizing AI APIs and intelligent services within applications.
• Create software components for interaction with AI, data processing, and external platforms.
• Translate business and technical requirements into effective and reliable software solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues in software, integration, network, and applications.
• Utilize networking concepts such as HTTP/S, TCP/IP, and DNS to develop and troubleshoot distributed systems.
• Enforce application security best practices, covering authentication, authorization, and data protection.
• Participate actively in system design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Continuously monitor application performance and implement improvements for scalability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and other technical teams to deliver comprehensive software solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including system specifications and architecture details.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and assist in evaluating and adopting new software and AI technologies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related fields, or commensurate professional experience.
• A minimum of five years in software development, full-stack engineering, or related technical roles.
• Proven experience delivering web-based software applications.
• Strong mastery of object-oriented programming concepts and software engineering practices.
• Experience architecting scalable and maintainable software systems using relevant design patterns.
• Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development technologies.
• Expertise in designing APIs and integrating third-party services and external software.
• Knowledge working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience embedding AI, ML, and AI API integrations within software.
• Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols relevant to distributed software communication.
• Familiarity with software testing, debugging methodologies, version control systems, deployment, and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving capability translating complex technical problems into effective solutions.
• Ability to operate autonomously and contribute effectively within technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and architectures.
• Working knowledge of container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous deployment pipelines, and automation.
• Exposure to microservices and distributed system design.
• Knowledge of integrating large language models and advanced AI platforms.
• Experience implementing authentication & authorization technologies (e.g., OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT).
• Application security expertise and development of secure software solutions.
• Practical experience with Agile or Scrum project management approaches.
• Design and operational knowledge of highly available and scalable production systems.
