About Executive Aviation and the Role

Executive Aviation is expanding at the Sudbury airport and is seeking dedicated Fuel Agents who thrive in hands-on environments and have a genuine enthusiasm for aviation. The company offers extensive training and a dynamic work atmosphere with shifts scheduled between 5am and 8pm, including on-call duties for after-hours requests. Employees report directly to the Fuel Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist pilots, providing exceptional customer service and promptly responding to email inquiries
  • Guide aircraft during arrivals using marshalling signals
  • Refuel aircraft in compliance with established WFS procedures
  • Perform ground support tasks such as operating GPU units, lavatory servicing, potable water replenishment, and aircraft grooming
  • Prioritize fueling assignments effectively
  • Refuel ground support equipment including diesel trucks
  • Handle fuel transfer for bulk re-fuelers and manage aviation fuel additives like FSII
  • Carry out snow removal activities on airport property as needed
  • Monitor fuel quantities across trucks, tank farms, and storage reservoirs
  • Operate fuel trucks safely to service larger aircraft
  • Maintain accurate fuel delivery records with gas tickets
  • Conduct thorough quality and safety inspections, including checks for damage and cleanliness
  • Respond to after-hours aircraft fueling requests when necessary
  • Relocate aircraft in and out of hangars and reposition them on the ramp
  • Execute other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Possession of a valid provincial driver's license; DZ license is advantageous
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights and weekends
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in aviation or mechanical fields is preferred
  • Background in gasoline or fuel handling is considered an asset
