Job description

Overview

The Frontier Transformation Framework supports customers in becoming Frontier Firms, where artificial intelligence is integrated into the core business operations, not just as an add-on tool. This transformation journey is facilitated through eight key delivery capabilities: Trust and Governance, Frontier Change, Human-Agent System Design, Organisational AI Capability Building, Value Creation and Management, Continuous Improvement, Experience, and Copilot and AI Intelligence Layers. Currently, these capabilities rely mostly on manual efforts and point solutions. To expand across diverse customers, industries, and projects, these capabilities must be standardized and scaled through a common platform accessible to both teams and clients.

This role seeks a Frontier Tools Architect responsible for developing the Agent and Intelligent Platform powering these eight delivery capabilities. You will manage the product strategy, create roadmaps, and oversee backlogs focused on agents, accelerators, and intelligence tools that convert the framework's functions into repeatable, measurable software. The platform builds upon Microsoft’s AI technologies such as Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agent 365, along with the intelligence layers Work IQ, Fabric IQ, and Foundry IQ to enable features designed once to be deployed and refined universally.

If you thrive on transforming real delivery pain points into launched product features, can engage effectively with both engineering teams and transformation leaders, and enjoy integrating multiple disciplines into a cohesive platform, this role fits you. Key responsibilities include selecting what to develop and reuse, defining metrics for value demonstration, and making the platform the most efficient and secure method to deliver Frontier Transformations at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Agent and Intelligent Platform to systematically productize each of the eight delivery capabilities previously managed manually.
  • Convert delivery workflows of these capabilities into reusable platform elements—such as agents, accelerators, templates, connectors, and monitoring tools—deployable in client projects.
  • Maintain and prioritize the platform backlog with clear requirements and acceptance criteria, focusing on customer impact, broad reuse, and risk mitigation.
  • Leverage Microsoft AI platform components including Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Agent 365 while integrating intelligence from Work IQ, Fabric IQ, and Foundry IQ to provide agents with contextual awareness.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering pods, business architects, system designers, change managers, and governance experts turning capability designs into technical features.
  • Integrate security and governance into the platform from the start, incorporating compliance, monitoring, and accountability for agent performance and conduct.
  • Define and oversee platform telemetry capturing performance metrics including cycle time, capacity, adoption, and profitability impact, with transparency for stakeholders.
  • Manage the operational cadence of the platform through intake, release cycles, feedback mechanisms, and continuous improvement routines, retiring or enhancing components based on real-world usage.
  • Support adoption by delivery teams and clients through documentation, reusable patterns, and enablement resources to ensure independent ongoing operation post-engagement.

Success Indicators

  • The eight delivery capabilities increasingly rely on the platform, significantly reducing manual effort.
  • Agents, accelerators, and tools developed once are reused across various clients and industries.
  • Platform telemetry evidences unlocked capacity, faster delivery cycles, and measurable financial impact visible to leadership.
  • Built-in governance, security, and accountability meet regulated industry standards.
  • The platform becomes the default, fastest, and most secure method for Frontier Transformation delivery, with clients and teams able to operate and extend it independently.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields plus at least 4 years building software, platform, or tooling products; or Master’s degree with 5+ years experience; or equivalent expertise.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a product or platform through all stages from strategy to delivery and adoption.
  • Experience converting internal or delivery capabilities into reusable, scalable, instrumented software products.
  • Hands-on knowledge in developing AI agents, including orchestration, tooling, and integration methodologies.
  • Strong ability to translate requirements from delivery, engineering, change management, and governance teams into clear specifications with acceptance standards.
  • Experience defining and leveraging product telemetry and key metrics to guide investment and prioritize work.
  • Skilled in build-versus-buy-versus-reuse decisions managing complex product portfolios with competing dependencies.
  • Proven collaboration with engineering teams and senior stakeholders including customers and executives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree such as MBA or advanced technical qualification.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft AI platform tools such as Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Agent 365.
  • Understanding of intelligence layers like Work IQ, Fabric IQ, and Foundry IQ and concepts in semantic data architecture.
  • Experience embedding governance, security, and compliance within AI products for regulated sectors.
  • Knowledge of disciplines behind the eight capabilities: human-agent system design, change and value management, continuous improvement.
  • Experience creating platform enablement materials including documentation and reusable patterns for capability transfer.
  • Background in management consulting, enterprise transformation, or delivery organizations.
