Front End Checkout Team Associate

Position Overview

This role focuses on assisting with transaction processing while delivering excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience and foster customer loyalty.

Key Duties

• Welcome every customer with courtesy and friendliness.
• Conduct purchase transactions swiftly and accurately, including merchandise deactivation per the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Promote Walmart's sponsored initiatives such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charity campaigns.
• Support customers by bagging and helping load their purchases.
• Follow safe working procedures, including correct lifting methods and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Ensure the security and accuracy of register operations through responsible cash handling, compliance with company policies, and awareness of surroundings.
• Direct relevant service requests or transactional matters to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Inform and assist customers on using self-checkout systems effectively and correctly.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75. (Le taux horaire minimum pour ce poste débute à 17.75.)
