About The Role

The Caerphilly Homelessness Support service is dedicated to addressing homelessness by offering opportunities to individuals who are street homeless and feel they have no alternatives. This role is dynamic and primarily involves being active in the community, providing essential support to individuals residing in temporary supported accommodations.

This position offers great fulfillment by enabling you to significantly improve lives through securing housing solutions and helping clients connect with external organizations and services that can offer crucial assistance.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Relevant prior work in roles supporting vulnerable populations is essential.
  • Must possess a valid driving license along with access to a vehicle.
  • A genuine passion for empowering individuals to live as independently as possible.
  • Strong enthusiasm for positively impacting people’s lives.
  • Capability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Competency in managing challenging or conflicting scenarios.
  • Understanding of housing support systems and benefits frameworks.
