Overview
Equans ANZ is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Estimator to join their expanding Fire & Mechanical Services team in Melbourne, Victoria. This role involves estimating and tendering for dry fire projects, minor works, project variations, and defect rectification jobs. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clients, builders, consultants, and internal stakeholders to develop effective solutions that foster business growth and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates and tenders for dry fire system projects including detection, EWIS, and VESDA.
- Handle cost assessments for minor works, project variations, and defect rectification tasks.
- Engage with clients and various stakeholders to align solutions with project objectives and business goals.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience estimating dry fire systems.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of Australian Standards, especially AS 2118 and AS 2419.
- Capability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications accurately.
- Excellent communication, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- A commercially astute and customer-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to work.
