Financial Director

Job Overview

As the Financial Director, you will be responsible for leading, planning, and managing all strategic financial operations within the organization. Your role will involve the development of long-term financial plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing senior leadership with critical financial data to guide decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement the company’s financial strategy in alignment with long-range business goals.
• Oversee the creation of annual budgets and forecasts alongside department leaders, tracking budget deviations.
• Manage liquidity and cash flow to guarantee the company meets its financial commitments without difficulty.
• Supervise the preparation of precise financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow reports, adhering to IFRS standards.
• Present detailed financial reports and actionable insights to the CEO and Board of Directors.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, Zakat, and local financial regulations and statutory obligations.
• Assess financial risks and design robust controls and mitigation plans.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external financial audits in partnership with accredited auditors.
• Develop and sustain banking, lending, and investor relationships to facilitate advantageous financing options.
• Perform feasibility analyses and evaluate capital investments to drive business expansion.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development to Finance and Accounting staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient written and spoken command of Arabic and English.
• Comprehensive expertise in IFRS accounting standards, corporate tax, and financial compliance matters.
• Strong skills in strategic leadership, financial negotiation, and advanced financial analysis.
• Experience with enterprise-grade accounting software and ERP systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
