About the Role
We are searching for an experienced Finance Administrator who excels in managing a fast-moving, high-volume workload. Join a high-performing government division where your contribution will support teams throughout New Zealand nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Process large volumes of project invoices, purchase orders, variations, and payments with precision and within strict deadlines.
- Handle financial allocations, including cost transfers and project budget updates, for active Capital Works projects.
- Manage multiple competing priorities to ensure all financial deadlines and contractual obligations are met smoothly.
- Collaborate closely with Property delivery teams to address financial inquiries and ensure data integrity.
Required Skills and Experience
- Substantial background in high-volume financial administration roles, with preference given to experience in property, construction, or public sector environments.
- Strong ability to manage time and prioritise effectively while multitasking under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail when processing financial data and managing budgetary tasks.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, fostering positive relationships within teams and with external partners.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the team to achieve shared goals.
