Key Responsibilities

• Define the technology vision and a 3-year strategic roadmap for platform evolution, focusing on AI-native systems and Google Cloud scalability.
• Connect technology decisions directly to P&L, ensuring architectural initiatives yield at least 30% revenue uplift for clients.
• Drive innovation by securing 10+ patents within two years on hybrid human-AI workflows and adaptive learning technologies.
• Accelerate R&D efforts with internal accelerators delivering production-quality machine learning pilots in under 90 days.
• Lead engineering of modular, production-grade AI stacks with 99.9% uptime, integrating continuous deployment guardrails, security, and ethical human-in-the-loop checks.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain world-class engineering talent, doubling internal promotion rates year-over-year.
• Foster architectural standards and design review practices across teams to ensure scalable, maintainable systems.
• Develop strategic partnerships with hyperscalers, independent software vendors, and research organizations to reinforce technical leadership and presence at industry events.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Over 15 years leading technology-driven organizations, scaling teams from small to 200+ engineers while maintaining velocity and culture.
• Proven expertise in AI execution and architecture, including MLOps, large language model stacks, and large-scale data infrastructures on platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, and Databricks.
• Strong experience bridging R&D, product management, and go-to-market to generate at least 30% improvements in client ROI.
• Outstanding ability to navigate complex, high-stakes technical decisions and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or related field, coupled with a history of industry innovation and strategic execution.

Desired Extras

• Experience architecting or scaling AI platform organizations with more than 100 engineers.
• Track record of filing or securing five or more patents in AI or distributed systems.
• Contributions to open-source projects related to MLOps or vector databases.
• Recognition as a technical authority (e.g., Google Developer Champion, AWS or Databricks expert) specializing in cost, latency, and security optimizations at hyperscale.
• Competence in identifying and mitigating production failures through automation and safeguards.
• Strong focus on technology adoption that drives user retention and recurring revenue generation.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for rapid prototyping, ownership, and outcome-driven delivery aligned with company culture.

Technical Proficiencies

• AI-native architecture and modern platform design emphasizing process transformation and agentic AI.
• Full-stack platform development proficient in data engineering, MLOps, vector databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Distributed systems architecture focused on resilience and low coupling for high availability.
• Security and privacy engineering implementing zero-trust and privacy-by-design principles with ethical guardrails.
• Designing and orchestrating hybrid human-AI workflows and multi-agent protocols.
• Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Go programming languages.
