F&B Service Expert - Apprentice - Garage

Position Overview

This role is dedicated to delivering more than just meals to guests; it focuses on crafting memorable and distinctive dining experiences where food and beverages complement the overall enjoyment. The Food and Beverage Service Expert takes initiative in providing comprehensive services that enhance guests' satisfaction, including table setting, liaison with the kitchen staff, guest interaction and service, as well as cleaning workstations and materials. The job requires physical activity such as extended standing or walking, safely maneuvering through varied surfaces, and handling objects with weights up to 25 pounds independently or up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain inviting table settings in accordance with company standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen personnel to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Engage with guests to provide attentive and friendly service, enhancing their dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and supplies throughout shifts.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Be on feet for extended periods, navigating various floor surfaces safely.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling items within specified weight limits.
• Utilize manual dexterity to manage menu information through reading and visual verification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• Minimal related work experience; less than one year preferred.
• No supervisory responsibilities expected.
• No professional licenses or certifications required.
