Key Responsibilities

• Remove finger, food, and beverage marks from furniture such as cupboards, tables, and desks using approved cleaning agents and techniques.
• Vacuum the recesses of upholstered chairs and sofas thoroughly with appropriate attachments.
• Shampoo fabric furniture carefully without excessive moisture and prevent the use of damp furniture.
• Dust all horizontal and vertical surfaces including picture frames, furniture, desks, chairs, signage, air vents, plants, and planters.
• Spot clean surfaces including mirrors, light switches, and door handles to maintain their cleanliness and appearance.
• Vacuum carpeted areas diligently, emphasizing corners and edges, and treat stains with approved products, shampooing carpets when needed.
• Vacuum tiled floors and perform wet mopping with suitable cleansers.
• Clean and sanitize restroom vanity units, taps, and toilets following specified cleaning standards.
• Empty waste bins responsibly, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly.
• Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels promptly.
• Handle all cleaning supplies safely, ensuring they are stored out of guest view.
• Coordinate with catering staff to address cleaning under tables and manage spillages swiftly.
• Communicate with the hosting lead regarding any shortages of cleaning supplies.

Safety and Compliance

• Raise safety concerns proactively and report any issues to supervisors.
• Adhere strictly to safety, quality, and environmental regulations to foster a safe workplace.
• Demonstrate and promote safe working behavior, including wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in cleaning roles.
• Proficient spoken English skills.
• Awareness of safety practices in the workplace.
