Role Overview

The Facilities Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests by ensuring all facility areas are well-kept and operational. This role requires attentiveness to both indoor and outdoor areas to uphold high standards throughout the venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform frequent facility inspections to detect maintenance issues, safety risks, and landscaping needs.
• Clean and sanitize multiple venue spaces, including restrooms, dining areas, golf courses, and kitchens.
• Manage waste by emptying trash bins and handling trash compaction safely.
• Maintain cleanliness using sweeping, mopping, deck brushing, dusting, and pressure washing.
• Monitor and replenish supply inventory regularly.
• Promptly report maintenance requirements and hazards to supervisors.
• Complete required maintenance checklists accurately.
• Assist in preparation for and recovery from storm events.
• Uphold workplace safety by following all relevant protocols.
• Contribute to special tasks or projects as assigned.
• Operate safely in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous work experience in facilities maintenance or janitorial services.
• Strong detail orientation with dedication to cleanliness quality.
• Proficiency in safely handling cleaning chemicals and products.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work independently within a fast-paced setting.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays as required.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate well with team members.

Physical Demands

• Capability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Competence in safely using various equipment and tools related to the role.
• Capable of managing cleaning agents safely and efficiently.

Additional Information
