Facilities and Maintenance Manager

Role Overview

The Facilities and Maintenance Manager will oversee maintenance and repair operations for completed interior fit-out projects, retail outlets, showrooms, offices, and commercial premises. This role involves coordinating with various vendors, AMC contractors, and service providers to ensure smooth maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage upkeep and repair of interior fit-outs and commercial facilities including stores and offices.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to organize maintenance work efficiently.
• Inspect civil, carpentry, painting, ceiling, flooring, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and furniture maintenance tasks to ensure quality.
• Oversee budgets related to maintenance, manage quotations, and secure necessary approvals.
• Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and quality norms.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and service reports.
• Coordinate between store managers, facility staff, and project teams to handle maintenance requests.
• Respond swiftly to emergency breakdowns to minimize disruption to operations.

Technical Expertise Required

• Knowledge of interior fit-out materials and finishing techniques.
• Understanding of carpentry, woodwork, laminates, and veneers.
• Familiarity with gypsum and metal ceiling installations.
• Experience with various flooring types including tiles, marble, vinyl, and carpets.
• Competence in electrical and lighting systems maintenance.
• Understanding plumbing and sanitary systems.
• Experience with HVAC and fire-fighting system maintenance.
• Familiarity with facility management best practices.
