Overview
Venture Scientific Private Limited is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter / Fabrication Technician with strong hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication, welding, control panel body construction, and machine shop operations. This full-time position is based in the Delhi NCR region.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cutting, marking, bending, drilling, and fitting of sheet metal components.
- Fabricate sheet metal enclosures and control panel bodies.
- Conduct MIG, TIG, and Argon welding on mild steel (MS) and stainless steel (SS) materials.
- Operate lathe and manual milling machines proficiently.
- Carry out drilling, tapping, threading, grinding, and finishing tasks.
- Fit, align, and assemble mechanical parts accurately.
- Execute fabrication and assembly per mechanical drawings.
- Manufacture brackets, frames, fixtures, and small mechanical parts.
- Independently manage general workshop fabrication and mechanical tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in sheet metal processes: cutting, bending, drilling, tapping, and fitting.
- Experienced in welding techniques: MIG, TIG, and Argon.
- Skilled in machine operations: lathe, manual milling, and drilling.
- Knowledge of threading, grinding, assembly, and mechanical fitting.
- Practical workshop knowledge with the ability to interpret basic mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with precision measurement tools such as measuring tapes and vernier calipers.
- Ability to work independently and handle multi-skilled fabrication and fitting tasks.
- Hardworking, responsible, and reliable work ethic.
Eligibility
Applicants should have at least a 10th-grade education; however, candidates with less than 10th grade but with relevant experience are eligible. Preference will be given to ITI holders in Fitter, Welder, or Machinist specializations. Practical skills and hands-on workshop experience are valued more than formal qualifications.
Additional Information
This role demands a minimum of two years of relevant experience in the manufacturing or fabrication sector within the Delhi NCR area.
Remuneration
The offered salary ranges between INR 12,000 and INR 18,000 per month.
