Position Overview
Join a leading global Consumer Healthcare organization as an Expert Detailing Representative (EDR) based in Ghana. This position targets science-oriented sales professionals enthusiastic about promoting impactful therapeutic products and engaging healthcare providers effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct specialized detailing sessions with healthcare professionals presenting clinical evidence and therapeutic advantages.
- Engage HCPs in digital platform recruitment and back digital communication initiatives.
- Leverage diverse communication channels including in-person visits, virtual meetings, email, and webinars to foster robust engagement.
- Support HCPs in utilizing patient communication tools and digital materials.
- Promote participation in Continuous Medical Education offerings.
- Maintain high-quality interaction standards and track expert detailing performance metrics.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships within assigned territory.
- Distribute medical samples to facilitate patient treatment trials and product adoption.
- Monitor and accomplish KPIs such as Awareness and Reference (AWR), Brand Reach and Medical Outreach (BRMO), and Share of Recommendations (SoR).
- Consistently meet or surpass regional sales targets.
- Provide marketplace insights and competitor intelligence to support strategic planning.
- Coordinate and contribute to educational meetings and events.
- Adhere strictly to compliance regulations and represent the field team with professionalism.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a scientific discipline.
- At least five years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or allied healthcare roles.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with CRM and digital tools, such as Veeva.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and key performance indicators.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical compliance and ethical standards.
- Holds a valid driver’s license and has reliable vehicle access.
