Opportunity Overview
We invite motivated candidates to join our talent community as Process Operators. This is a chance to be part of a large-scale operation with opportunities located across multiple sites in Western Australia including Perth, Busselton, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing, Kununurra, and Pilbara mine sites. Rosters typically follow cycles such as 7 days on/7 nights on/14 days off or 7 days on/7 nights on/7 days off depending on specific site and departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate ore processing facilities efficiently and safely.
- Strictly adhere to standardized work procedures.
- Perform daily inspections on processing equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Provide detailed shift handovers and maintain accurate daily logs and reports.
- Support continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing plant performance.
- Recognize workplace hazards and address them promptly.
Qualifications and Experience
- Background operating large-scale wet or dry processing plants, preferably within mining environments.
- Strong ability to conduct risk assessments and apply safety controls diligently.
- Familiarity with control room systems is advantageous.
- Experience operating mobile plants such as front end loaders, skid steers, overhead cranes, and telehandlers is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate effective two-way communication during operations.
- Possess a valid current C Class Driver's Licence.
