About Nando's PERi-PERi Expeditor Role

Join the Nando's PERi-PERi team as an Expeditor, a vital position connecting the kitchen with our guests. This role ensures orders are prepared promptly, meet the brand's quality standards, and are delivered to the correct customers. Expeditors also handle preparation and packaging for take-out orders, serving as the last point of contact for take-out customers. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, courteous, professional, and dependable. Our Expeditors contribute to creating a welcoming and exceptional dining experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate seamlessly between kitchen and customer to ensure timely order completion.
• Guarantee food quality and correct order delivery in accordance with Nando's standards.
• Prepare and package take-out orders efficiently while maintaining customer interaction quality.
• Collaborate with team members to surpass guest expectations and uphold the brand experience.

Minimum Qualifications and Expectations

• Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively in a team setting.
• Maintain composure and effectiveness under busy or stressful conditions.
• Dedication to delivering quality service and possessing knowledge of food and beverages.
• Familiarity with safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols.
• Basic proficiency in English and professional communication abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Capable of independently lifting up to 15 lbs for extended periods.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs regularly while carrying dishes and food items.
• Endurance to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours throughout a shift.
• Good hand-eye coordination along with flexibility for reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping.
• Capability to push, pull, lift overhead, and navigate multi-level stairs in the establishment.
