Job description

Position Overview

This Executive-Sales role is based in Dubai at Four Points by Sheraton and requires working onsite. The position involves managing guest interactions through appropriate departments such as Sales, Data Management, and Accounting to resolve inquiries, requests, or issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply sales techniques aimed at optimizing revenue while sustaining existing guest loyalty, including promoting premium sales.
  • Identify and provide guest appreciation gifts, such as reward points, tickets, and gift certificates.
  • Enhance brand awareness both internally and externally.
  • Handle cancellations of Marriott Rewards points and process all room reservations, modifications, and cancellations via phone, fax, or email.
  • Enter and manage Marriott Rewards program information using appropriate software during guest bookings.
  • Attend and respond to all guest calls, requests, questions, and concerns effectively.
  • Perform general office duties supporting Sales and Marketing such as filing, emailing, transcribing data, and sending faxes.
  • Assist management in staff training and motivation, leading by example.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, maintain professional appearance and confidentiality, and safeguard company property.
  • Welcome guests as per company standards, anticipate their needs, and offer genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone, prepare and review documents accurately.
  • Foster positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues’ concerns.
  • Monitor employee performance to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Read and visually verify information presented in various forms.
  • Physically handle items weighing up to 10 pounds independently.
  • Perform additional reasonable tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
  • At least two years of relevant work experience.
  • No prior supervisory experience required.
  • No licenses or certifications are necessary.
