Executive - Loss Prevention

Position Overview

The Executive - Loss Prevention plays a vital role in maintaining security and safety across the St. Regis property in Goa. This full-time role involves patrolling the premises, securing rooms, facilitating guest access, and managing emergency events effectively to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols throughout the property, securing rooms and assisting guests with room access.
• Implement emergency response drills and perform daily safety hazard inspections.
• Manage investigations, interviews, and audits related to key control.
• Monitor security systems, including CCTV and alarms, while authorizing access to restricted areas.
• Provide assistance to guests and employees during emergencies, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Document incidents, maintain confidentiality of reports, and release information only to authorized personnel.
• Address disturbances by following company policies and de-escalate potential conflicts.
• Respond to safety hazards and complaints, escort unwelcome individuals, and ensure compliance with alcohol regulations.
• Use established code responses to request assistance and provide necessary paperwork to employees.
• Support management in coaching and training staff, promoting fair treatment, and adhering to the company's open door policy.
• Uphold company policies, report unsafe conditions, complete required safety training, and maintain a professional appearance.
• Deliver excellent guest service by greeting and anticipating needs, communicating clearly, and building positive relationships with colleagues.
• Perform physical tasks such as inspecting equipment, moving objects up to 50 pounds independently and larger weights with assistance, navigating challenging environments, and using fine motor skills.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two years of relevant work experience in loss prevention or security.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience.
• Obtaining any required state licenses or registrations may be necessary depending on jurisdiction.
