Role Overview

The Aerospace Inspector is responsible for verifying that aerostructures, systems, and components comply with strict safety, regulatory, and quality standards within the Inspection Service Business Unit, which handles inspections and assessments of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal and external inspections to confirm adherence to specific codes, standards, or documents.
• Interpret and apply regulations, codes, and industry standards relevant to aerospace inspection.
• Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) as required for each assignment.
• Ensure assigned equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
• Recommend and approve necessary repairs, followed by visual inspection of completed work.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain thorough documentation.
• Submit daily and inspection reports along with inter-office communications promptly.
• Foster positive relationships among clients, facility personnel, and coworkers.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior inspectors.
• Complete all mandatory trainings and assessments as per company standards.
• Conduct risk assessments before work commencement and strictly observe all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Aerospace Inspector.
• Certified NAS 410 Level 2 MT and M10 mandatory, including certification in any two additional NDT methods such as PT, ET, or UT.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends as required.
• Ability to develop strong rapport with diverse stakeholders.
• Capability to thrive in a dynamic, complex, and multicultural work environment.
