Role Summary

The organization seeks an accomplished ERP Project Director to lead the delivery of their enterprise ERP program. This position entails hands-on involvement in solution delivery spanning Finance, Human Resources, Operations, and Business Development domains. The director acts as a liaison bridging functional and technical teams, managing solution coordination, project scheduling, delivery, constraint mitigation, and risk throughout the project lifecycle. The position embodies a proactive, results-driven mindset, focusing on synchronizing efforts across functional and technical workstreams, solution architecture, and governance to ensure timely, quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee detailed project management, including planning, governance, and reporting across the entire ERP solution delivery lifecycle.
• Ensure synchronization of integrated program plans, including scope, schedule, dependencies, and activities.
• Facilitate collaborative planning and execution across requirements definition, design, solution construction, testing, data management, integration, and technical/functional teams.
• Monitor and confirm adequate resource allocation internally and with external partners.
• Establish governance frameworks for daily project supervision encompassing solution validation, decision-making, dependency, and risk management.
• Lead technical governance forums, enforce design principles, and guide key architectural decisions.
• Promote best practices in configuration, testing, integration, environment strategies, release plans, and change control.
• Provide leadership and guidance on ERP solution architecture across functional, technical, and integration aspects.
• Arrange cross-functional reviews and technical architecture sessions ensuring solution alignment.
• Manage daily interactions and coordination with ERP vendors, implementation partners, and technical teams.
• Coordinate activities among internal technical teams, external vendors, and system integrators.
• Review and validate vendor outputs, service level agreement adherence, and related technical documentation.
• Oversee ERP cutover management by approving strategies, governance models, plans, runbooks, and key success criteria.
• Validate business readiness and track progress towards go-live.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Professional ERP system certifications such as SAP Certified Application Associate preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in leadership roles managing ERP projects involving platforms like SAP, Oracle, Deltek, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalents.
• Experience with cloud-based ERP systems and digital transformation initiatives.
• Proven track record in end-to-end ERP implementations and vendor management involving systems integration partners.
• Exceptional communication abilities for conveying complex technical and business information suitably to diverse audiences.
• Strong skills in project planning, coordination, and managing large-scale program deliveries.

Additional Information

This position is hybrid-based, offering work from either the Cork or Dublin offices.
