Job description
Role Overview
As part of Ramky Sustainability Solutions in Dhanbad, the Equipment Resource Manager will oversee the management, maintenance, and operational readiness of vehicles and equipment utilized in municipal solid waste management. The role entails ensuring equipment reliability through preventive maintenance, compliance with legal regulations, and timely communication with relevant teams to support uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily vehicle dispatch inspections to verify vehicle condition and compliance with standards before deployment.
- Design and enforce preventive maintenance schedules across all equipment types to maximize operational uptime and promptly identify mechanical issues.
- Maintain comprehensive and current maintenance and repair records, including tracking parts usage and labor expenses, and generate reports to monitor equipment status.
- Establish and administer safety standards and staff training programs related to equipment operation and upkeep.
- Manage budgets allocated for maintenance and repairs, including procurement of necessary parts and materials.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and technical teams to integrate innovative technologies aimed at improving equipment efficiency and limiting downtime.
- Coordinate with internal departments to align equipment availability with operational demands.
- Ensure strict adherence to legal and RTO regulations across all maintenance and operational activities.
Qualification & Experience
Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering and have 2 to 5 years of experience in equipment resource management activities.
