Enterprise Architect - IT

Overview

The Enterprise Architect at Aujan Coca-Cola Beverages Company (ACCBC) based in Dubai is responsible for defining and overseeing the target architecture across applications, data, integration, cloud, security, and AI. The role aligns technology strategy with business goals to ensure a secure, scalable, and cost-effective IT environment that generates measurable value for ACCBC’s operations across multiple countries. A strong focus of this position is on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) program, enterprise integration, Microsoft Fabric, AI enablement, and architecture governance.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and continually update the enterprise architecture and technology roadmap, translating business priorities into actionable architectural plans and investment guidance.
• Lead the Architecture Review Board, establishing standards, principles, reusable design frameworks, and governance practices.
• Manage the application portfolio to reduce technical debt and rationalize legacy systems, advising on build versus buy decisions.
• Own end-to-end architecture for D365 implementation covering Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Sales, enforcing minimal customization and sustainable deployment strategies.
• Design integration architecture including APIs, event-driven messaging, ETL/ELT, leveraging Azure Integration Services and other iPaaS technologies, while ensuring performance and security standards.
• Guide data & analytics architecture using Microsoft Fabric, establishing governance on data quality, lineage, master data, and enabling advanced analytics and AI scenarios.
• Lead AI architecture activities focusing on GenAI, Copilot, and machine learning, fostering responsible AI governance and practical adoption within business units.
• Define Azure cloud architecture encompassing networking, identity, resilience, and cost optimization with embedded security and compliance measures.
• Provide delivery assurance by reviewing and approving solution designs, supporting business cases, governing vendor proposals, and ensuring operational readiness.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, mentor IT staff, and promote architectural and AI capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar fields; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, D365 Solution Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe are highly valuable.
• At least 12 years of overall IT experience with minimum 5 years in enterprise or solution architecture roles within sizable complex environments.
• Proven leadership of major ERP projects, preferably with strong D365 expertise.
• Extensive experience in enterprise integration architectures using modern API and event-driven approaches.
• Expertise in modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Synapse, Databricks, including lakehouse architectures and Power BI.
• Track record of production-ready AI and GenAI architecture delivering business results.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud architecture covering key pillars like landing zones, identity, security, resilience, and cost management.
• Experience in multi-country, multi-currency, manufacturing, FMCG, or distribution sectors.
• Established track record of architecture governance, standards enforcement, and vendor management.
• Ability to collaborate with executives across Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, HR, Audit, and Risk.

Reporting and Leadership

This is predominantly an individual contributor role with no direct reports but includes dotted-line leadership of solution, integration, and data architects. The Enterprise Architect guides D365 consultants, integration and data engineers, and system integrators in architectural matters.
