About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join a substantial and multifaceted organisation in Melbourne. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously develop the Enterprise Architecture function, including frameworks and standards.
• Create target-state architectures, reference models, technology roadmaps, and architectural blueprints.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership in both business and technology to translate strategic plans into architectural solutions.
• Oversee architectural direction across major company-wide initiatives to ensure alignment with enterprise goals.
• Provide guidance and leadership to Solution Architects, ensuring their outputs align with broader enterprise architecture principles.
• Identify potential gaps, risks, and opportunities within the current technology environment.
• Influence decisions on technology selection, architectural standards, and governance processes.
• Adopt a pragmatic and contemporary approach to enterprise architecture and technology transformation efforts.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of five years experience as an Enterprise Architect.
• Proven track record working within large, complex organisations.
• Strong background in Solution Architecture coupled with enterprise-scale technology delivery experience.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives and stakeholders without technical backgrounds.
• Hands-on knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and methodologies.
• In-depth understanding of architecture governance, roadmap formulation, standards, and designing target-state architectures.
• Excellent skills in strategic thinking, communication, and managing diverse stakeholders.
