Job description
Role Overview
Chubb Fire & Security is expanding and invites applications for the position of Electronic Security Technician within our Services division. This rewarding role involves daily engagement in break/fix reactive servicing, routine maintenance, installation, commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting across various electronic security and integration systems.

Mandatory Requirements
- Australian citizenship is required; Chubb supports and covers the cost for AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance application
- Proven experience programming and commissioning security systems such as Gallagher, T1A, Integriti, Lenel
- Possession of a valid Victorian Security Licence
- At least five years of relevant experience in a comparable position
- Current driver's license
- Demonstrated quality trade skills and technical methodologies
- Strong communication skills and capability in engaging stakeholders
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to produce reports on mobile devices
- Availability to participate in a rotating on-call duty roster
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
- Current NV1 Clearance or eligibility to obtain it
- Australian Government Security Clearance and Defence-related certifications
- Current or attainable ACMA cabling license
- Competence in basic ICT networking
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) license
- Proficiency in fault identification, isolation, repair, and comprehensive reporting of installed systems
- Strong electronic data handling and documentation capabilities
- Effective technical and non-technical report writing skills
- Experience with cabling, panel fitting, and commissioning electronic security hardware
Required Technical Expertise
- Extensive knowledge of leading access control and CCTV products, including Gallagher EACS, Inner Range (Concept & Integriti), UTC Product Range, Tecom, and Lenel
- Experience working on large-scale integrated installations across commercial and industrial sites
- Familiarity with IP networking and various analogue and IP CCTV platforms such as Milestone, Genetec, and Avigilon
