Job Overview

WPS is seeking a skilled Electrician specializing in inspection and testing to join their team for social housing projects in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. This role offers stable, long-term employment opportunities within the social housing sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical inspections and testing on social housing units, both occupied and vacant.
• Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) along with related certification accurately and thoroughly.
• Execute remedial electrical work as necessary to ensure safety and compliance.
• Adhere strictly to current electrical regulations and company protocols.
• Deliver professional service while maintaining positive tenant relations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Certification in C&G 2382 – 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation.
• Qualification in C&G 2391 – Inspection & Testing or an equivalent certification.
• Proven track record with 2 to 3 years of experience in electrical inspection and testing roles.
• Possession of a full UK driving licence.
• In-depth knowledge of existing electrical standards and regulations.

Additional Desirable Qualifications

• Holders of the ECS Gold Card will have an advantage.
