Role Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Isolation Coordinator to join our Garden Island team. This position involves partnering with Project and Production Managers to guarantee the safety and effective completion of all electrical isolation requirements within projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the daily implementation of electrical isolation activities.
• Maintain accurate and updated records and logs related to isolation tasks.
• Provide ongoing training and refresher sessions on employee procedures.
• Engage with customers to ensure alignment and communication.
• Support the development and execution of Isolation Plans.
• Perform annual reviews and updates to isolation procedures.
• Oversee compliance with scheduled audits to uphold standards.
• Ensure all lockout equipment is fully accounted for, well-maintained, and in operational condition.

Requirements

• Trade qualification accompanied by a valid Electrical Licence, preferably NSW.
• Proven expertise in applying isolation procedures within the Australian construction or related sectors.
• Ability to coordinate work effectively in complex environments with strong problem-solving skills.
• Competency in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, and clearly communicating needs to different stakeholders.
• Capability to delegate tasks efficiently, manage team dynamics, and collaborate effectively.
• Strong analytical thinking, literacy, and numeracy, combined with proficient computer skills, including experience with databases and spreadsheets.

Additional Information

Applicants must be Australian citizens eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance, as this is mandatory for the role. Nationality may influence suitability owing to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). You will undergo police, medical, employment verifications, and reference checks as part of the routine screening process.
